Xbolt Hunter (blued) in .270 WSM, brand new for a 1993 dated BLR in 7 Rem Mag(straight grip, non-takedown, blued) with see-through mounts and a bushnell banner scope?

I dont yet reload, so the thought of spending big coin on the WSM to fire it is putting me off of it... I know the 7 RM isnt much cheaper, but it is slightly.

The long action BLR's lose most of their charm to me as the action is so long that the balance is poor and the gun ungainly and heavy, so I'd keep the Xbolt and stock up on ammo when a sale appears or use it as an excuse to buy some good reloading gear. ( Honest Honey this stuff is saving us money )

Nope, I'd keep the X-Bolt.
The BLR's shine in the short actions, preferably the 30 cal groupings.

Keep the .270 WSM, and stock up on ammo when you find a good deal.

Keep the XBolt-great do-it-all cartridge and gun. Down the road, add the BLR in an '81 .358win and you can hunt anything in NA in all terrain types.
