Wow! Polished my new S&W revolver up. BLING BLING!

Looks good. I do like polished and matte look so all good by me. Polished sure makes getting rid of carbon easier than a satin or beaded finish.

I'll be taking it out and putting 200 rounds through it this weekend. That should be a good test on how it'all look after being fired. Lol! I'll take a before and after pic then too!

I have been working on my 686 as well. its a work in process. I have a few deep marks that i might have to wet sand and polish to get them out. My gp100 has been left with that satin finish but the 686 has such a bad finish it needed something. Smith and wesson should be outright embarrassed by the finish they have been actually sending out of the factory these past few years. The satin finish on the ruger is 10x nicer than the satin finish on the smith. I call the satin finish on the smith just poor worksmanship .

Well I gave er a good work out this weekend! Here's how it looked after 200+ rounds! :))

She definitely looks worked after only 1 wheel but after that it doesn't get a whole lot worse. It cleaned up easily enough after. I'll post up some final pics after I get one more polishing session in with it.

I finished the final polishing and did a nice double action trigger job while I had the whole thing apart. Trigger feels great now. It wasn't bad at all before but it's definitely smoother now...

The polish came out really nice. I'm happy with the Mothers Mag Polish and it also seems to take lead off the cylinder face pretty good as well.
