I bought one last year and it was the typical brown grips, gold bolt. Not much barrel support, thin pump that pinched your hands, that you had to upgrade to a 2289 handle or a steel breech for barrel support.

As seen here.

I bought a new one thinking I was going to get the same but black. But I'm super impressed.

Nearly triple the amount of barrel support.

Slightly larger pump handle. I do still got a 2289 handle coming.

Comfy grips.

SO I'm honestly impressed by the new looks. Same American Classic box but with new looks. Guess wont be as bored anymore.

Looks pretty good, i bought one that was probably made in 2010 and it was very loose even compared to a much older one i had. Is the weight about the same? I may pick one up as i sold the last one i had.

Yeah its about the same. I ended up taking the cap off and adding some tape to tighten the barrel. Still had some wiggle.

There may be better threads for this... but how's the accuracy on the 1377C?

Great its one of the #1 modded airgun for target and other. My other one with the factory barrel, steel breach kit ( had a grub screw that supported the barrel more ) and a cheap 4x15 scope I was getting 3/8" groups at 10Y.

I'm still getting used to it, unsupported I'm getting nickle size groups at like 20'

I've seen pics of people with dime sized groupings at 10yds with stock guns, from what I've read these pistols have one of the best factory barrels and as was mentioned they are the most customizable air guns on the market. I've put far more money than I should have into mine.

Hmmmm... a little research shows this to be a very intriguing little air gun. I'm looking for something to tinker with an keep the garden raiders at bay (squirrels and bunnies will RIP in a pot with some of the veggies they missed. LOL). I had a 1322 way back in the mid-80's and remember it being quite effective.
