I did a course a few months ago. My gun had a serious jam, couldn't get the charging handle back to save my life. When we did hammer free (butt strike to the ground). There ended up being nothing ejected (though I can't elinate small debris). This would eventually lead to the trigger locking solid in the fire position.
I did have a couple double feeds leading up to this.
Moving on. I then had the hammer lock back, lock the trigger so I couldn't fire and stop the safety from being engaged. I was able to free it by getting a car key to release whatever the hammer was hung up. Got back up and running for a couple hundred rounds.
Today load up, same problem. Double feed. Clear it, and then I'm single feeding. Rack the charging handle it ejects the round, feeds a new one and shoot. Then nothing.
Rack the charging, live round pops out, charges new round, fires that round, then nothing.
Same thing over.
The rifle fires a round, ejects the empty casing, and then fails to fire.
I tried four different Pmags. Same problem.
I try a cmore mag. Same problem.
I was running norinco ammo. Had a few light primer strikes on the rounds I was manually ejecting.
Ran AE 223 in Pmags. Same problem
Ran norinco 62 grain in cmore mag, pmag - same problem.
I have my ammo to other guys, fired fine, buddy fired the light primer strike rounds no problem.
I switch rifles. SAME PROBLEM.
I borrow a full auto BCG and it jams half way between the chamber and in the buffer tube.
I ran every mix of options. Only thing I can think is swap in a new trigger spring kit.
OR I run ASAP mounts on both rifles did I do something wrong to cause the bcgs to have issue entering the buffer tube? I can rack the action with my semi auto BCG all day without issue though.
Thought??
