After a great deal of reflection, I have decided that effective immediately, I .will process no more barrel orders. We will fill all outstanding oreders and then wrap up the business.

Most customers have been amazing, great people to deal with, but some cannot help but blame the messenger when orders take longer than expected. When your email fills up with hate mail from a select few that cannot appreciate that we have no control over a supplier's production, and shipping times.

My heart isn't into it anyomre, so we're calling it quits.

We do have a good inventory of 6, 6.5, 7mm and 30 Palma barrels on hand as well as AR 15 barrels. Those are up for grabs until they're gone.

Thanks to everyone that has done business with us and to all the friends I have made along the way.

I hear you. I'm a manager and work in retail. Some people are such jerks. Sorry to hear you are calling it. I would have hoped to buy a barrel from you in the future some day.

Ian I understand and have also changed my business a lot too. Some days my heart isn't into it either. You've a good name here no matter what some of those emails might say.

I have gotten two barrels from you and have nothing but good to say about your service. I just accepted the fact that they would be here when they got here (can't rush a good thing).
Sorry that those selected have ruined it for you (and ultimately the rest of us that like those Krieger barrels).
Might have to get one of those 6.5 barrels before they're all gone.

I'm sorry to hear that, Ian. I was looking forward to picking up a Krieger from you when I get close to burning our my current 7Mag barrel. I understand though, working in retail myself, that some days the difficult customers make you want to rip your hair out.

What do you have in stock in 7mm?

I recently replied to an add on here via email that I was looking for a Kreiger AR15 barrel. I didn't receive a reply, but I also didn't send hate mail, or a follow up for that matter. Good luck with your future endevours.

Wow, that is a shame. Yes, retail certainly has its moments.

Hopefully, this will mean more attention to doing what you do well and that is moving F class forward.

Give me a shout if you want to discuss business.

Jerry

Damn shame. I own a retail business myself and have had great success in achievements, (two sound quality north american championships.. back to back) while being open only years as of aug 1st. I don't get hate mail, however being the best in North america twice in a row, doesn't seem to convince anybody locally, who are merely shopping for wattage rating and low price. it's the equivalent of saying a WW2 .308 that seen 5000rds through a barrel will be as accurate as a brand new .308 custom with alot of care put in it's build with a lot of load development. .. Stick with it. if need be, downsize but please keep giving the service and quality that reasonably people know you for.

Well I have not bought from you as I have not bought a new barrel yet, but i have got advise from you and am sorry to hear there you are calling it quits! I hope you still plan on shooting lots and helping others on here!
Good luck on all future endeavors.
Chad

Sorry to hear of your closing down Ian - I never got around to being a customer but I do recall you being a real Gent at my first F Class outing and it was, at least in part, the encouragement of yourself and others like you that motivated me to keep trying. All the best in your future endeavours.

Where's my damn barrel? Seriously though, sorry to hear about the bad experiences with a select few.

Hey man sorry to hear.

I am glad your doing what feels best for you and not letting this run you in the ground.

Was a pleasure doing business with you.

Honestly, I couldn't have said it better.

Well its a sad day Ian. I never did buy a barrel from you, but I have shot with you. And I have admired the guns that were built with the barrels you brought in.
I still chuckle about the "you and Richard" - stirring drink thing, yikes. Hope to see you at other events.

Ian,
I have not purchased any barrels from you but you offered some good advice in the past. Its too bad you feel the need to shut things down but thats your decision and has to be respected. I am shooting in my first F Class match in Kamloops in September. Hope to see you there and chew the fat.
