Round count will be roughly
Rifle: 100 :ar15:
Shotgun: 50 Buck Shot/ Bird Shot :shotgun:
10 Slug
Pistol: 120
(These are of course minimums, as the COF's have not been decided yet)

We will classify people for the pistol stages into Production, Standard and open.

This will be a day when you put your pistol on in the morning and not take it off till the end. So with that make sure that your holster will retain your pistol with no problems.

All rifle and shotgun stages are run what you have.

No other restrictions on equipment or ammo. General usage is 55gr .223 and #7 to #4 12 gauge ammo

Anything from a drop leg holster to armor carriers to chest rigs to plain belt rigs with shells in the pockets are good to go.

There are no "club guns" available, however if you bring .223, 9mm, 40cal and 12 gauge someone will let you use there rifle, pistol and shotgun.

Hoping to make the drive. I think with my present schedule that I'll be off for that day. Any idea of start time? I'm 3 hours + drive, so I need to figure if I'm driving in the morning or the night before.

Tell your right hand I say hi. ;)

Why, did date it before he did? :D

Not sure which ammo I should use, I've been having some failures to extract with the 9mm BDX ammo in my 1911, unfortunately, I could not narrow down the issue last visit to the range, too many factors.

I am going to try and make this one, camera and all...

Sucks but I won't be able to make it. I really need to sart buying lotto tickets so I can retire and not work, it gets in the way of shooting far to much. Hope you guys get some decent weather for the match.

I just finished packing everything up.

I will be there with my camera as well, so if you do not wish to be on video, please see me ahead of time so I will not record you.

See you all out there!.

What an awesome event.

The 26 round shotgun course was heaven for me.

Thanks guys, can't wait for the next one... if I can make it...

Agreed, except the 26-round shotgun course was a nightmare for me... I had to take 2 extras at one of the clays (though I'm told I actually put a hole in it with the first shot - damn it!) and ended up having to leave one of the bowling pins unshot because I ran out of ammo!

I definitely need to get some proper shotgun strippers - stages like that make me want to cry when it comes to reloads...

Great match, thanks to all the guys and gals who worked so hard to put it on!

(Also, any word on scores yet? :D )

Great Match Guys,
Good stages and props.

Never had a shotgun so hot that all you could hold onto has the stock! Great RO's and event. Look forward to seeing you guys again soon.

Thanks to all that came out. Was a good day of shooting.

Make on your calenders 17 - 18 Sept, it is our 2 day 3 gun. We will be running about 10 stages between the 2 days, if I can source one out of make one by then we might have a Texas star shotgun stage (thanks for the idea Rossco). If anybody has any ideas of would like to help in the design of stages PM me.

Cheers,
Big Tex

DUDE!!!! I'm planning on booking that weekend off work as it is! SWEET!

Now, do I spend that weekend shooting or on the bike? You're making the decision hard....
