Hello All! With just a month out before we all get back into the swing of things I thought I would just put this out there for you to mark on your calendars!

We will be holding orientation for the season with some time to get you and your gear reacquainted with each other, this is also when we will be conducting new shooter orientation as well.

The link below also outlines our season with all the dates for matches and practices:

The Exec has been busy this off season working to make the matches better than years past!

See you there.

Looking forward to starting this year. How much of our gear and how many rounds should we bring? Do we need to sign up before hand or just show up?

Bring all the gear you want to try out/ sort out.
Ammo, bring enough to comfortably zero/ confirm zero on all platforms.
No need to sign up, make sure we have your email, as all will be getting an email blast before the day.

So folks a few weeks away and the weather (crap shoot) looks to be cooperative, we'll see if that holds!

Should be a great day lots to get through and we are all looking forward to not only orientation but a great season!

Keep the questions coming and see you guys on the 14th.

Just submitted my e-mail address via the WRAS contact page :)

What are average minimum round counts for matches? I'm trying to scrounge up enough ammo for the season, with some buffer.

We say 100 rifle, 100 pistol, 50 bird (#4 or #6) and 5 slugs.....that is listed on the WRAS main page under the March 28 Match....:)

Think I'll bring some rubber boots along. With all the warm weather expected, I imagine the range will be pretty muddy.

Just wanted to say thanks to the executive for putting on their Orientation today. Real informative, and I think all the new shooters (myself included) feel very welcome. I'm looking forward to starting the season :)

Yes, well done WRAS Exec. Very informative and good safety procedures on the firing lines. I'll be back for some 3gun for sure.

Thank you for the kind comments. If there any suggestions for things we can do better let us know!
