Ws Mcr tool compatibility

Hey there I'm wondering if anyone can tell me if a Magpul Bev Block will work with an MCR. I know they recommend a reaction rod but can't find the answer to this question.
Also can anyone suggest the best way to potentially find somebody local with a tool like this that would be willing to lend it? Is there a tool exchange thread?

I had ordered a BeV Block for a modern Sporter build, didn’t fit so just removed the roll pin and use it like this.
Works fine.
