Hey all, happy Thursday!! Wapiti Shooters Club in Grande Prairie, AB is hosting a 2 day 3-gun match on August 13&14. I would like to invite any shooter who wants to come out and shoot, to do so! Just go to the link provided and pre- register. We really need the pre-registrations so we can get final numbers to caterers. I will post minimum round counts early next week, but have a few details to share.
On Saturday, after the main match is wrapped up for the day, we are planning to have a head-to-head battle. This will consist of several rounds until a winner is crowned. Cost of entry will be $20 with the winner taking 50%. This will be a very fast, fun race. Both to shoot and watch. Remember, with head-to-head, its anyones game. A malfunction, make-up shot, etc. is all it takes to turn the cards and see favorites eliminated.
As released before, entry into the main match is $120 and includes 4 meals. Lunch on both Saturday and Sunday, breakfast on Sunday morning. Supper Saturday night (just to get the mouths watering a little bit) will be a 16hr smoked Brisket with Potato Salad and Maple and bacon smoked beans. Of course, this wouldn't be complete without some cornbread which will also be done in the smoker.
