I apologize for the short notice, but we will be keeping our June 20th (Saturday) match and be running the match as a Shotgun only match.
As I'm sure most, if not all, of you know- we have been dealing with some unfortunate events here in GP (to put it mildy and understated). Because of this, it has taken us a little bit to figure exactly how we were going to progress in our new future. Once again, i apologize for the short notice.
On to the match, I will post further details through the week. For now, it will be run as an IPSC Shotgun style match (non sanctioned - Black Badge NOT required) with IPSC rules and divisions. The divisions are as follows;
Standard Manual - Pump, Tube fed, no optic, no porting/brake
Standard - Semi, Tube fed, no optic, no porting/brake
Modified - Semi, Tube fed, optic, porting/brake
Open - Detachable mag, optic, porting/brake
Unsure of how many stages we will put together (min. 6 stages) but the round counts per stage will range from 8 to 28 rounds. We will try and stay close to the ratios laid out in the IPSC rulebook ( 3 short, 2 medium, 1 long). So, no, this will not be a match full of the 20-28 round shotgun only stages that we are all used too.
Match cost will be $40. Practiscore registration is open https://practiscore.com/wsc-mp3g-shotgun-match-june-20-2020/register. Please register as soon as possible so we know how many people to expect (affects opening the beverage center among other things).
At this point, we will NOT be providing a lunch so bring some munchies. Also, bring water, Gatorade, etc. right now its looking like it will be a nice day out (although that can change any minute).
Please make sure you firearms comply with the OIC list that was issued on May 1st.
As well, familiarize yourself with the IPSC Shotgun rules here; https://www.ipsc.org/pdf/RulesShotgun.pdf
We look forward to seeing everyone out for some shotgun action, and once again, sorry for the short notice.
