Hi
I did a quick search and seems most ppl use HS-6, titegroup, 231 or even power pistol for 9mm. Anyone uses WSF to load 9mm? How does it perform?
I am interested in looking cause its burn rate is similar to HS6 but charge weight is lower and i can find them cheaper.
Thanks

Wsf

I have used 3.9 of WSF for loading 147g jacketed 9mm. They shoot as well as anything else I tried (ransom rest tests). For lead I use 3.5 Bullseye for 145 g cast.

I have used 5.3 gr WSF with a 115gr FMJ and 4.8 gr of Hodgdon Universal with a 115 gr FMJ with good results.... a buddy of mine swears by 3.8 grs of Clays for the 115 gr and 4.5 grs of Longshot with his HP 147 grainers....Unique will work quite well too... used 5.9 grs for years with a 115 gr and 5.7 with 124 gr cast
hope this helps

Aliants PROMO

Can't say enough about Aliant's two relatively new powders: PROMO and ClayDot.
Promo is an excellent propellant for 9mm and so is ClayDot.
Not only economical at about C$14.00 a pound, their applications to other calibers makes it tops on my list.
They only come in 8 pound containers, but ask me how many I have gone through.......
