Their powder is typically about $8-$10/lb more than WSS or other suppliers. Not surprisingly, they usually have stock at these ridiculous prices.

+1. They sometimes have decent prices on firearms, but anything else is a good 15-20% high of the rest of the world.

Le Baron had a sale on for fathers day if you have one of their club cards. 15% of everything. I got primers for $24, but they were out of small pistol, but I managed to get everything else, including varget for $24. I have been pleasantly surprised at the one in Markham lately. The people in the gun room have been actually friendly, although Bing has always been good to deal with. And the Oriental woman doing ammo has been very helpful. The people in the Mississauga store are still dicks tho for the most part
 
This seems to be a timely thread...

I'm loading the the IPSC Ont Provincials this week-end...and I just used up the last of my S&B. I switched back to the Winchester...and low and behold I'm reminded of why I hate them so much.

They just do not like my Dillion RL auto primer filler. I turn it down to the lowest setting...and they still jam up in the feed. I went though 20,000 S&B without a hiccup...and on my 2nd pack of 100 Winchesters...I'm taking the top off the primer filler to un jam the ####ing thing.

S&B all the way!

WTF $79.99 for 1000 primers from Bass Pro. I've always purchesed my primers from Le Baron. Last time i paid about $30 per 1000 . I only shop at Bass Pro when theirs a real super deal sale going on, other wise i avoid the store.
 
I have been had on small items at Bass Pro that I didn't price check as I assumed at the time that it must be at least on OK price from a big box store.

Wrong. I am boycotting bass pro until they can be reasonable, if that ever happens.

I pay $25/1000 Winchester pistol primers.

Where would that be? Again, that's half what I'm currently paying.
