I don't have any complaints about WSS. I only order online and have had good service.
Yesterday WSS made me feel a little ashamed.
I had called about a magazine for a savage last week. The girl said she had found one in another store and would call me back. When it got to Wednesday this week I decided to order from Savage direct. Less than an hour later, the WSS girl called me to tell me my order was packaged and ready to ship.
If I was as standup as everyone else professes to be I would have checked with WSS first. But I'd been listening to the internet.
As penance I will be flagellating meself with barb wire round me under pants until a week come Thursday.
Yesterday WSS made me feel a little ashamed.
I had called about a magazine for a savage last week. The girl said she had found one in another store and would call me back. When it got to Wednesday this week I decided to order from Savage direct. Less than an hour later, the WSS girl called me to tell me my order was packaged and ready to ship.
If I was as standup as everyone else professes to be I would have checked with WSS first. But I'd been listening to the internet.
As penance I will be flagellating meself with barb wire round me under pants until a week come Thursday.

I was looking for 180gr Accubonds so i called up their mail order and she said they had some in the Edmonton store. So, i says how much? and she says. 31 bux a box...... i bought 3 and they showed up at my house within a week.

They are getting better though. I think getting stock out on shelves instead of hidden in the warehouse has helped them with keeping items in stock and the speed they fill orders since now they can actually find things.
An example is the stupid red bins under the counter where they kept all their Lee Case length gauages vs having them hung in a display in an aisle. Now they can see what they have and what their low on. They used to rummage through those stupid bins trying to find what you wanted it took for ever and they never had what you wanted because they didn't know what they needed to order.
Not sure what caused them to pull their head out of their ass. But I have my theory that TSE's reloading section caused some of it as well as Cabelas Edmonton store.

I have to agree, I made an order , said all was good.3 weeks later, didn't get my shipping confirmation, I called, then they told me that one item wasn't available so they didn't ship it.So I asked when they were gonna tell me this, they said well we don't know. I said ship what you have and don't expect anymore business, the girls response "yeah, we hear that alot"

Don't start bragging about NoSaleSports until the item(s) are at the door.......trust me on that one.
I have never ordered online from them. I look up the manufacturer's part #, call the store, have them check stock and ask them to bring it in for me. No shipping that way
. So if they call it's waiting for me at the store and hopefully they can find it when I get there!! Last bullet order took them 2 days to find it after it got there.I have to admit they have gotten somewhat better, maybe feeling the pinch from BP and TSE.
The vmax's are for my hornet.
Some range results would be interesting.
I have a 527 CZ hornet that shoots the Hornady factory 35gr into 1 hole at 100 yards. I have tried to load this same bullet and with small pistol primers I can get a 1 inch group. With small rifle primers and the 35gr bullet I am easily minute of gopher. This is with LiL Gun powder.
There are many folks out there that feel that the ballistic coefficient of this 35gr Vmax bullet is sooo bad it is not worth loading when compared to the 40gr Vmax. I don't try and shoot my Hornet out to 200 yards. FS

Are you referring to reloading as being painfull?? On the contrary reloading is an important part of the addiction, being able to build your own ammo, stockpiling components, looking at that huge ammo locker with many thousands of rounds in it and knowing you made it all your self and that you have enough stuff to reload for the next couple of decades... painfull? WTF ya talkin bout?? I break out in a cold sweat if I don't do some reloading a couple of times week

I have never had an issue with WSS Mail Order. I almost prefer dealing with them. I have ordered 3 rifles and every single one showed up within 2-3 days and they never screwed anything up on me for the smaller orders (bullets/optics related stuff/etc). It used to be that WSS was always the cheapest but now there are so many competitors that I check around. That being said I still consider them good to go.
Cummins - you are gonna love those 35 VMAX bullets - fully loaded they make the hornet look retroactive futurisitic - sort of like the leverevolution ammo from Hdy. They may not be sleek like the 40-60 gr VMAX and look so darn stubby but they are cute like the chubby girls that everyone likes to date but not tell their friends about...

I have stopped buying from WSS because they can't ship in a timely manner or get the order right to start with.my last order hadn't shown up after 3 weeks .I call give the girl my customer # she tells me the order hasn't been picked yet .I tell her if it takes 3 weeks and the order is not picked yet to cancell it and I will order else where.next day I get a package in the mail from WSS .I think well she got the order # wrong and gave me the wrong info.I get the package home open it and its my previous order from april duplaicated.I call to find out whats going on and find out about returning the order.I am only going to say it went down hill real fast from there .GRrrrrrrrrrr
Bwahahah, good analogy!! Picked them up last night, should be awesome in the hornet. Your right they are kinda cute little buggers.
