Just received my order from Whole Sale Sports..
They sent me several boxes of opened bullets( taped up) which were oxidizing( obviously from handling). They also sent 4 boxes of bullets which were entirely the wrong bullets. So I call them and they explain mistakes are made because the people they have working in the mail order division don't know anything about bullets and that sort of thing..
I guess I won't be ordering there anymore...

Thats the problem he didn,t get what he paid for.all there products are ordered by a product # .for 10 or 12 bucks an hour you would at least think they could read.

I wish we had a large sports store like WSS here in Fort Frances----I think I would like to work part time for some extra ammo cash there.
As it is, I hope I do not end up as a Walmart greeter to make a few extra dollars!

Don't they still have some nice gunshops in Int'l. Falls??? What about Superior shooter's supply in Superior WI., I always used to head there, also Gander mountain in Duluth.

i ordered from them and called to ask about my order about two weeks later and after they checked they came back and said that my order hadnt been shipped because they re printer was broken when i placed the order and my order hadnt printed off

Oh man. I thought everybody knew this by now. Ok...time for my WSS talk.

Before walking in the store:

1. Know EXACTLY what you want.
2. Know where in the store it's located
3. Know both the WSS product number and the manufacturers product number
4. Know what it looks like
5. Call ahead about stock BY PRODUCT number. If the computer says they have less than 10, don't bother going
6. NEVER expect an order to be even remotely correct if it's being picked by them for mail order

If you don't follow the above 6 steps, you are doomed before you start.

If you leave out ANY of the above

I have had a delivery almost every month of the year for at least ten years, and never had a single problem. Last time I ordered my parcel was delivered to my house in Surrey B.C. five days later. I have also had them call me several months after I have ordered to tell me the bullets or components I back ordered were now in stock and ask me if I still want them shipped.
I must be just lucky I guess.

WSS Mailorder

Ordered a specific rifle in December.....I very specifically described the model and was assured they had it......called 2 days later to double-confirm the model I wanted.....you guessed it...they sent the wrong one....DO NOT deal with WSS mailorder....

You don't get much for $12 an hour anywhere anymore. I hope I am Senile before this generation gets to look after me. At least that way I won't expect much or know the difference.

Don't they still have some nice gunshops in Int'l. Falls??? What about Superior shooter's supply in Superior WI., I always used to head there, also Gander mountain in Duluth.

I-Falls has The Outdoorsmans Headquarters----they had a lot of ammo and reloading supplies on hand all the time----the last couple of years it has been a pain to cross the border with ammo----the problem lies with the USA requiring you to have an export permit----might as well try to become Prime Minister---

I've been pleasantly surprised at the service from hunting counter at WSS Calgary in my last two visits (last two months). No wait for service and the folks were knowledgeable. Still can't get a live body to answer a phone, but nice to see some improvements - I do miss not having the option to go to Russells.

The main problem right now with WSS mail order division is two fold; their website is defunct( and has been for atleast two years!!!) so you have to call in an order and their staff doesn't know anything about the shooting sports. I don't have any of their catalogues right now so I rely on them to know what they are doing. WHen I order Hornady .284 cal 162 A-max I don't expect to receive .284 cal 160 sierras.
