I know 30-30 isn't like buying 9mm or 223 ammo. You dont normally see bulk pricing as far as i can see.
However, id like to buy at least 10 boxes (20rounds per) for a new rifle i just acquired.

Any suggestions?

You are best to get it locally, since shipping will kill any savings. Most stores do not consider 10 boxes to be bulk, although I know Epp's give 10% off any ammo when you buy 10, so you could ask your local store.

i would agree , making a deal at your local gun dealer would be your best option for 30-30.......they might knock a few bucks off if you buy ten or more boxes , and pay with cash....

Your best bet is to reload, bite the "bullet" and buy a case locally then start reloading. Even a Lee classic loader will get the job done.

Luckily it is one of the most economical centre-fire cartridges to buy off the shelf, but I've never seen a bulk pack of it, etc. I switched to reloading it, and make very cheap and fun 30-30 ammo, but that involves the investment into reloading gear. Worth it though, I pull the trigger a lot on that gun without a second thought. I have my own version of a 'mad minute' with a 30-30 lever, lots of fun.

I find with mine it is cheaper to buy from wal mart. Even with the 10% discount of buy 10 boxes. ( under 20 per box)

Totally agree with this one. Bought a box of 30-30 the other day at a gun store for $30 (didn't pay enough attention at the time to the price). I was in CrappyTire and WallyWorld the day after and saw the same box for $18.

Getting deals locally is out of the question. This is from experience.
Im not that interested in reloading so i dont mind paying for the product. Ill keep looking and might even combine 30-30 with some other ammo and save on shipping from some of the sponsors here on cgn.
