WTB Prescription shooting glasses

Call Wayn e at Morgan Optical. He's done my last 2 Randolph Rangers a d superior service.

Try L&M Lenses (lmlenses.com). They carry everything and travel all over the Northeastern USA. Their pricing has always been very competitive. If you can, I suggest that you hook up with them at a shoot and spend some time with them. They are great people to work with.

Have you tried contacts?

I buy single prescription coloured glasses from Zenni Optical. A little over 100.00 a pair and the prescription is the same in all four sets that I own. Polycarbonate meeets the requirements for safety glasses. I buy all my glasses from Zenni and they are as good as any pair I've owned from a Canadian manufacturer for less than half the price.

eye change after a number of years. Prescription is to sharpen distance a bit. Never let them tell you that you can toss glasses !!!!!

Interesting ... I know most people need cheater glasses for reading, but I thought the distance was good to go. If you have never tried contacts, I suggest you try them. I have the worst eyes for contacts, but finally got them to work for me. My eye doctor enhances my vision with the contacts and I have regular (non-prescription) lenses for my shooting glasses. So, when my vision changes, I just get a new set of contacts.

If you can afford them, have a look at the Pillas. They have the shield type one piece lens, which are curved. The lenses are made by Zeiss and are guaranteed to be 100% optically correct. A once in a lifetime purchase.

Hi,

I know that glasses are a personal thing, but does Zenni have anything that come close to being what most would consider 'shooting glasses'?
Like, a high bridge?

What design did you go with?

Thanks.

I buy the wire framed aviator glasses and then bend the frames a bit so I'm looking through the centre of the glasses when the gun is mounted.

Another vote for Wayne at Morgan optical. Call him and he'll set you up. He's a shooter and understands the requirements...

I shoot Ranger Edge frames with Rx. They can mail direct to Canada, no import duties etc I believe.
