WTF High Capacity Mag Ruger.17HMR

Does anyone know where I can find a Canadian source for a high capacity mag for Ruger 96 in .17HMR ?
Cabelas lists them but won't ship to Canada. SIR doesn't, and Wholesale doesn't. I find it frustrating to see something in a catalogue then be told they can't ship to Canada.

Yup, tried them.....and everyone else now. 4 vendors in the USA carry them (Pro Mag and Shooters ridge models) but everyone refuses to ship to Canada.
Sure would like to turn off the water electricity and fuel we ship to them, just to get their attention.

You may have to go down and get one yourself! I like your idea regarding shutting off their power and fuel supplies! Without Alberta providing the fuel and MB/ONT/QB providing power, their silly regs brought about by 9/11 might be looked into, but they probably will never change!

Yes it would be export laws. Magazines are considered gun parts and even it they're valued under $100 you still need to be a registered exporter. They're not going to risk $100K fines to make a few bucks shipping to Kanuckistan.- I know I wouldn't.

As for going down and getting one yourself and bringing it back, you would be breaking US law.

You might try contacting Brownells - they are a licensed exporter they can special order stuff if they deal with the manufacturer.

wow your right I checked out 4 other companies that have the magazines but all will not ship internationally or outside of the US. Your out of luck as far as I can tell
