WTF is this?!?!

I have seen bulls grow very long hooves (to the point of making walking very difficult) from being fed/contained in a small fenced area for too long. Maybe this was not really an animal from the "wild", maybe from a not so "wild" game ranch.

I would agree with that. Something seems very strange about that buck, but I guess you never know, anything is possible.

that is the result of useing comercial antler growth stimulants. as a side of effect they also stimulate the growth of hooves due to the fact hooves and antlers are the same "material".
that deer is more then likely feeding on a "game farm"

the critter is foundered (heels grow faster than the toe, that causes the curl)
could have come from eating to much barley
but most likely its from being contained and not trimmed (just like a domestic cow)(like said before)

Doubtful........
It is a "disease" that many Hooved critters can be affected with.
The name escapes me at the moment:redface:
But it is Not necessarily the result of "Growth stimulants";)

Looks the same as founder in horses. Its usually caused by over eating grain, colic, fever and I believe long confinement in uncleaned pens. Could someone have been trying to raise a monster? If so it didn't work.
I think Calvin wanted a 36.

I have seen that before in one of the hunting shows I watch, I might be mistaken but I think I saw it on Buckmasters, someone had taken it on video walking the woods, that bulk was walking so slowly from the pain of its hoofs. This buck was taken out of its misery.
