wtf is wrong with people?

forgot to post this last weekend before i went out of town...

i went to one of my usual hunting spots last saturday and as im getting my gear ready i hear my dog growl so i turn around to see whats up. i see 2 cats sticking their heads out of a brush pile and i immeadiatly start thinking "christ, wtf is wrong with people". turns out there was 5 cats all huddled together keeping warm (or having an orgy? ). 2 of them looked like decent cats but the other 3 were obviously in the bush for a while.

do people not understand how many little critters that cats kill when you dump them out in the bush?

what would you have done in this situation?

and

is it legal to shoot cats in the bush or is it basically a SSS kinda thing?

I don't know about Ontario but Quebec encourages you to shoot cats in the bush.

I have 3 grown , neutred male cats at home and we all get along very well .
Hyde , Simba and Squishy ( He got stepped on as a kitten ) are good company and guard the house from rodents.
I really don't like shooting feral cats , but I will and have .
There's only 3 species of cats that belong in our wilds , domestic feral cats are not one of them.

I live out in the sticks and people are forever stopping thier cars and throwing out a cat! I feed them out of sympathy, however most get killed on the road within a week or so. I wonder if people know that you can drop off unwanted animals at the SPCA for no cost! Hate to see any animal suffer.

It all comes down to teh difference in attitude that most country people have to cats vs city people.

Cats don't have a long life span in the country. They kill mice and you expect that a good percentage won't survive the winter. And you make up for the short life span by having lots of them.

For hunting cats, first construct a mortar.

Then, place pie plats with milk in them as targets.. convientaly where the cats are.

Procede to aim for the ca.. errr, pieplates.
