Everybody makes three dot low light/night sights with the same color dots.

Trying to find three dots in the dark is stupid, especially when adrenaline is flowing.

Doesn't help I want them for a pre-B C75.

Anything interesting like an XS big Dot a requires cutting the slide.

end rant.

Have you ever taken a low light course? Those with three dot sights had a significant accuracy advantage over those without. That being said, a single dot is decent if you can at least get a faint outline of your sights. It’s quite easy to have elevation errors with a single dot though.

Also, of it is such a concern, simply paint over the rear sight of a three dot set. Problem solved.

Totally agree.

IIRC, it was HK that came out commercially with the first 3 dot sight. And everyone else jumped on that bandwagon.

One dot front and blacked out rear is my preference. The CZ SP-01 has the best sight on a commercial pistol out there.

Nope. Too politically involved to take any course these days, especially one I didn't know exist.

I'm not paying for new sights just to paint them over. I'll keep them as is, considering your point about three dots. Thanx

I don't think you can line up 3 dots incorrectly even in low light. You can't see the front sight unless it's centered, otherwise you only see 2. You can't really mistake the front sight for a rear sight unless your rear sight is transparent.

So mill the slide.

Didn’t you start a thread a few weeks back about this? As I recall several people presented several options, but also made clear your CZ would need to be milled. You said your gunsmith had it under control. Not as economical as initially thought?

He has the night sights from another CZ and says no problem. The refinish and sight installation is very economical. Not getting a deal for knowing him 25 years... prices are on his site.
