This is an older 7mm-08 Remington 700 CDL. There is no J lock and no warnings on the barrel. Metal and bore is in EXC shape, wood is in good shape (small scratches, knicks, poorly fitted R3 recoil pad). Round count is just under 400, loves 140 grain Accubonds over IMR4350. NOT INCLUDING the scope (but including the Leupold 1" rings and bases), what would be a fair price to ask for this rifle?

Probably $600-700. That's what used blued steel & walnut Remington 700's and blued steel & walnut CRF Winchester 70's are typically listed at in the EE.

Regular price new is $1030 at wholesale sports but they go on sale from time to time for less than that.
 
According to the latest news, they're crap and you should be paying someone to take it. So, here I am....:)
