the crest should be on the top of the slide - just to the rear of the chamber.
they are simply tokarevs with the grip lengthened (much better IMHO) 1/3" past the usual T-33
this makes the pistol fit 'western-hands' much better than the type 54 or T-33
The M-60 was also done up in 9mm - usually there was a spacer put in the magazine to prevent the 9mm rounds from being 'set' back or a spacer in the frame and a smaller magazine was used to prevent the same..... for what it is worth using regulal mags and 9mm ammo never really created a problem, the round is naturally 'feedable'
The M-60 should have no safety... and be in 9mm, with a full length mag (spacer incl) 8 round cap and crest
The M-70 should have a frame mounted safety, either a mag spacer and long mags or short mags with frame spacer, 8 round capacity and crest
...
will post more later... frying pan alert!
PS - convert your M-60 with a norinco barrel from 9mm to 7.62x25 and you will be most happy... simple, ergonomic and slim.... WITH A BIG BANG!!!!!
