I have several boxes of 9mm, made in 1943.
Is there a collector market for these?

Not especially. People like them for displays etc, but they don't bring big money unless its a rare variety.
 
I had a couple of intact boxes, and had no trouble selling them to a WWII collector. Cardboard box with I believe 16 or 18 cartridges, and the cartridges themselves were black if I recall. I think I got something like $20/box, but it was a few years ago so I can't recall the exact price, but not a lot
 
Full and sealed is much preferred by collectors. Open boxes, unless scarce or odd (as stated above), don't bring too much.
