Let me start off by saying l was trying to find an area to post a thread trying to find out info for a friend about a WW1 7.65xAutomatic pistol his friends great grandfather got off of a French Officer as the story goes ??? I understand this is definetly not the proper forum for it but have no idea where to put it he has given me numerous pictures and can share them by text or email to find out any and all info l can for him ??!! This is almost as good a place as any! Show some pictures and those who know will chime in to identify the pistol. Or you could try posting in the
