I was a a garage sale today and found what I thought was a nice looking bayonet and sheath. The guy said he paid $100 for it in Quebec about eight years ago and just wanted to get his money back out of it. He said it was from WW1. The sheath had a hand made beaver fir cover that easily slid off. I didn't buy it because I know nothing about the value and history of such things, did I make a mistake? I know its not much information to go on.
Found a crappy picture from the garage sale notice. You can just see the bayonet above the gun to the left of the teapot.
