WW1 Davon No.2 Field Micro-Telescope by F. Davidson & Co. London - C-broad arrow mark
I've found a very nice example of a World War One, Davon No.2 Field Micro-Telescope made by F. Davidson & Co., London. These scopes are not uncommon but this one has been C-broad arrow marked, which is unusual. Patent 13251 - 12 was granted in 1912, so this may have been put to use by a Canadian fairly early in the war.
I'm wondering if anyone can tell me more about this beautiful item?
