Hello,

We need some more info like make, finish, bore etc.

Pictures are the best thing to post in these cases.

However an early war on like that if it is in very good shape with an original stock and holster could be about $2000-2500.

Well, a 1905 made gun won't be an "antique" or a cone-hammer. It is in 9mm or 7.63? What is the bore condition? What is the finish like?

Pics would be a HUGE help.

With the little info you provided, it could go from $350 to $2500+ A huge range. Basically, we need alot more info.

more info

just received more info on the mauser i will be taking pics on Tuesday . the broomhandle is a 1904 not 1905 and its stamped on the side " von Lengerke & Detmond NEW- YORK " it was a deptment store that sold a very limited amount of broomhandles to the American market and i also found out that in 1904 only 100 where sent to the usa for sale .
as soon as the pics arrive i will post them
Thanks Gunner109

Hello,

This will definatly change the price and collectors market. If it was sold in the US pre-war, then it is not a WW1 German piece. This changes the type of person who is willing to buy it and how much they are willing to pay. As for the price, we would still need some more pics.

I know the (very few) pre-war Canadian Broomhandles that were bought are extremely collectable and very valuable. This probably doesn't apply to your sice these were actual Canadian Military Pieces.

This is why we have the EE forums.

You will be hard pressed to get a proper valuation or to sell it with out any pictures.
