He fellas,
I was going through all my .303 Brit ammo... sorting and organizing, because I am going to shooting only cast from my S #4 Mk1. 1942.
In and amongst the assorted Imperial and Dominion and FC ammo I came across :
what appears to be 68 rounds of Armor piercing and 85 rounds of FMJ
The AP has the following head stamp info:

DA C^ ( the 3 dash arrow is inside the C) 1940 VII (also some 41 and 42)
DI 1942 Z VII
DI 1944 Z

The FMJ:
DA C^ 1944 VII
DA C^ 1945 Mk7
DA C^ 1950 74
DA C^ 1943 VII
SPD 951 (might be 1951 )
WRA 1941 .303
GB 54 7
.303 FNB
DI Z 1943
DA C^ 1940 VII

The question I pose... Is there any collector value to this ammo? It is factory. As I said at the beginning , I am switching to shooting only cast out of my LE to preserve the rifling. She is a 5 groove and still shoots tight groups so I want to keep her that way!
What do you fellas think?

The DA and DI ammo is Ball MkVII. AP will have WI in the hs as a designator of type. Much of the WWII ball ammo was loaded with gilding metal clad steel jackets so it will be magnetic. AP ammo also had a green primer seal.

If you had a 5-round clip of each arsenal, each year, in each loading they produced, maybe. There are cartridge collectors, but I think a overwhelming interest is in shooting. In that regard, most guys here would only be interested in having enough of one type to get their zero and shoot a match.

Most cartridge collectors are looking for full unopened boxes. Singles examples most already have. FNG collectors maybe.
1944 vintage DA ammo is fabulous stuff. Made the 85ish IVI stuff look like complete crap. Very close to match grade ammo. Long ago and far way. sniff.

I have a stash of WW2 fodder which I'm going to shoot off.
The empty boxes will have any collector value on their own ;)
Some the best .303Brit that I've used , incidently , is from South Africa ( which they refer as 7.7mil )

Bought 8 sealed 48 round boxes of 44 dated 303 a couple days ago. I buy it for shooting, not for looking at. It's nice to go through a day of a match with the same lot number on all your ammo.

When I use it, I'll save the cardboard boxes and refill them with dummy 303s. There is a ammo storage box on the bren carrier that stows this particular size.
