Going through some stuff that I am purging and came across a great coat that i forgot I had.

Is there any interest in these kinds of items and/or any value?

its 1943 made coat by T. Eaton Co.

It even has a C Broad arrow marking.

It's in the right country, so you're off to a good start. Couldn't offer a value, mind you.

I do find it interesting how often the "smaller" sizes turn up, in everything from battledress blouses and pants to great coats like this - seems the average soldier was certainly a bit shorter than todays lot. Wiry bunch, the lot, though.

While I agree we've gotten taller in the last 75 years, I suspect that what we see is often the tails of the bell curve, the smallest and largest bits of uniforms survived unissued because most soldiers were average size and average size uniforms got issued and used up more. That being said I think this example might be the exception to prove the rule, being probably on the low end of average sizes. Reenactors are probably your best bet for a sale.

My father gave his uniform to his father, who wore to do the gardening until it fell to pieces. The boots were especially prized just after the war when footwear was still rationed and they were resoled many times.

I remember my late uncle's greatcoat being used to keep the frost off the tomatoes. Greatcoats didn't change much right up to the end. I remember wearing mine in Winnipeg in the winter and wondering WTF was wrong with an organization that couldn't give you a hood to keep your ears from freezing.
