WW2 Ground dug relics - Saving history

Is there really that much WW2 history still to be recovered? There certainly is, as you can see from my little collection of what some refer to as 'rusty tat'. It isn't......it's WW2 history.

Thats a awesome collecion. The large pile of MLE butt plates and no1 nose caps caught my attention for sure. That stuff must be awesome to find.

Thanks guys. Yes Evanguy......it is! I have a huge collection of Long Lee butt plates, the vast majority with unit marks still on the tang. History!
