I understand they are called luger loading and/or take down tools. Anybody know anything about these, particularly identifying repro examples. I am looking for 4 original examples but WWI period.

Not all of them are stamped with makers marks. I remember seeing a wooden box about 20cm square full of them. Those days are long gone. If you come across one, pick it up if you need it. They aren't rare by any means but you don't see them that often.
It has a screw driver slot for removing the wood grips and you can use it on the magazine to pull it back where the round knurled button is on the outside of the magazine.
