Any thoughts on the value of a real WWll German Jump Smock? This a real "real" smock not a real "reproduction". Still has the threads remaining where the fancy eagle was ripped off. Provenance is pretty simple - came back with my father ... but not sure if it was "liberated" in Sicily/Italy or Holland/Germany. Pretty good shape too. Bloody big 'nylon' zippers, leather tabs etc

I'm not trying to downplay anyone's expertise on this forum, but if you want your question answered by some seriously passionate and knowledgeable experts from around the globe who look at this stuff everyday, post your question (with pics) here;

Thanks -- thats quite the site -- other than the various uniform bits and pieces I still have a Telefunken and a "Torn EB" and power adapter in pretty good shape to move on eventually ... have no idea how my father managed to get all this stuff back to Canada; although I guess he was a bit of "piker" compared to the Canadian Brigadier who tried (unsuccessfully) to ship a German staff car (still full of the booty the previous owner had swiped in Holland) back to a farm in Saskatchewan...

You will need photos for any info on any forum.

If you'd like, you can email them to me and I'll put them on my photobucket to get your questions answered. I'm on Waf as well.

If "legit" and confirmed via photo, you have a rare and valuable piece. Quality replica's sell for $500+ and that indicates relative value (likely add at least a zero). If your father is still alive, a letter of authenticity this would also increase the value.
