ive always loved the SKS and SKK rifles but only in the para form. e.g short barrell ..

and look at what the main gunstore in NZ has gone and done for us.

to put the cost in perspective .. $500 NZ is about $250-$300 your guys moneys :D JEALOUS MUCH ?! :D

Never mind the SKS, I have always been envious of the fact you Kiwis can have semi auto Saigas and other AK goodness. :D

So if I plained on a hunting trip in NZ you telling me that I could use all these evil rifle's like the AK, Saiga or the dreaded Dragunov to go hunting??? Or just for fun go blasting in the woods and not be thrown in jail for having all these evil rifles? How are your guy's immigration laws for political refuges from Canada?

haha that is correct , you can even go hunting with your FN FAL here in NZ
 
i lived in N.Z. for a year or so from what i remember most of the big game hunting was on the south island. my boss used to go pig hunting in the mountains round Motueka. they got huge rabbit and possum infestation there you go for the sks target practice :p
