Good to know. I have always wondered about getting meat and parts back across the line.
Given this years poor speed goat season here, maybe going south for next year is the answer.

Ya that has always crossed my mind also.

So i take it that Gillette is the city/town that you were hunting around. So basically you shoot it, gut it and take it to him and he will pack it up for you to cross the border?

They merely cut, freeze and put in boxes....nothing specific for any border crossing is done. Maybe there are rules about wild meat with Canada Customs however as indicated two trips with zero problems although I won't be responsible for anybody getting their meat siezed:p

Needed to get the ATF temporary import....faxed all paperwork and had it back in 3 weeks...

Hi CTS,

I see we're neighbors by about an hour and a half. I'm up for splitting a ride next year if you are serious.
