Heres the situation, my wife is pissed off at her Model Seven .260 because she likes to be 'gentle' when she chambers a round, and sometimes that causes it to stovepipe or jam (i have a feeling she isnt properly loading the mag, but she insists she is, and women are always right)
Anyways, the only way she will be satisfied after missing an opportunity at a coyote last weekend, is to replace the gun. She has her heart set on the X-bolt micro in 7-08, and i was wondering if any of the guys on here with a similar rifle can comment on feeding with this gun, both from the mag and single fed. Does it like rough treatment, or will a woman's touch work?
