Anyone here fondled the Xbolt 2s?
I've heard some slight fix ups on an already good action platform.

I'm thinking of going down this route or atleast seriously check one out in near future.

Is there much gain over an older Xbolt??

Prices are reasonable here at the moment for hunter or composite basic models.

They are fairly light hey, a good average weight ...

Keen to hear if you love or like yours

I am impressed by the new X-Bolt 2. Picked one up in 243 Winchester and it shoots two types of factory ammo, Federal 85 grain Barnes TSX, and Federal 95 grain Fusion into tight groups and nearly identical points of impact. Hunting deer with factory ammo this year, but will build reloads this winter for it.

Love the new blackened fluted bolt and the bigger straighter bolt knob. Weight feels better to me, and I have owned 3 X-bolts in 6.5 CM Hells Canyon, and wood stocked 280 Remington and 30.06 Springfield - all were good shooters and carried well.

Fella was saying Browning are leaning toward the LR division , longer barrels, steeper pistol grips and weird stocks etc.

So I'm not going to go down Xbolt 2 route.

Standard would be the Go , for Me.
But I can't afford it rn
