I am interested in an xbolt in 308, however I'm concerned with their twist rate. 1 in 12. I would like to shoot 180 grain with the possibility of shooting heavier yet. If you own one I would like to hear how it shoots. THANKS.

Pretty sure its 1:12. Even shooting 180s is pretty much max, 170, and under optimal. 180-220 needs to be 1:10, or tighter.

See the Berger Bullet Data. A 1 in 12 should be good up to 190 grains with their VLD profile. Their VLD tends to be very long, so you should have no trouble with a regular profile boat tail up to 200, and over that with a flat base and/or round nose.
