Anyone have any real knowledge of when the X-bolts will get here? I keep hearing anytime now but would like to hear for sure when.

I was interested in them as well but after watching the Browning promo dvd, I'm not really interested anymore. The video did make me want to buy a new shotgun though.

The xbolt looks okay from far but has one super ghey feature I dont like; the little button on the top of the bolt handle you need to press down on to open it.

You only need to press it to open the bolt when the safety is on, otherwise you just open it normally

Wholesale in Calgary had 2 come in so far this year, both went fast. Gobles website has them posted, but have to call for availability. Had the oppertunity to spend some time in Kamloops Wholesale going over the X bolt and comparing it to other guns, the blued 300 WSM they had left was actually a very nice gun. I like the overall "feel" of it. For comparison, I own / have owned Rem's in 600/660, 700 old & new, 721, 725, 7, Steyr Scout, Swiss Arms 970, God only knows how many Mausers, Parkers & Alpines, Savages old & new, Ruger 77's MK I & II, CZ 601, older Sakos, and a T3 Tikka. I would rate the new X bolt (at least the one I handled) fairly close with the 970, it was that nice. As in all comparo's, your mileage may vary.......will wait and see if the stainless stack up as well.

Edit note, one of our sponsers, Epps, has a few listed on their website, no stainless though.
