Hello all, just my results using an X-die. bought it to extend life of brass that goes thru my garands. this is LC unfired brass. the steps i took; Fired 5 brass once with a shuster gas plug with no insert( felt that by not cycling the action i got a more accurate dimension to start with) then put the normal plug back in, used a Stoney Point Head&Shoulder guage and set up the die with .003" shoulder set back, trimmed all the cases to 2.474" and then adjusted the top screw adjustment on the die, shot the cases 5 more times and resized. decided it was time to cut a case and check the case wall for thining etc. i was pleasantly suprised with what i saw.

Overall i am very happy with the result, to top it off none of the rims are chewed up. could be from the wolff spring kit and how stiff it is? Just some info for those that were considering getting an X-die.
