Anyone know how to remove the recoil spring from the Type-B bolt carrier?

Near as I can figure the nose of the gas piston has to be removed but haven't had confirmation of that.

Okay so I’ll try my best to describe this in words.

1.) Take a Canadian dime, put it into the slot in the front of the piston
2.) Press forward the back of the spring-rubber thing at the back of the carrier group until the tension on the cross pin inside the slot allows you to push the cross pin out from the side.
3.) The spring assembly will now come out of the bolt carrier
4.) The removal of the spring from spring seemly is quite straight forward - put a cleaning rod into the tube and pull on the spring, loosening the C shaped clip from the front then you’re done!

Thats the Type A carrier. The Type B carrier does not have that slot in it.

Pulled both rifles apart this evening. The thing came apart quite easily. Just take care to control the spring at the back end or it SPROINGS out with a bit of force.
