X95 - small mark on barrel entrance shooters side

I replaced the stock trigger last night (what a difference).. and after pulling the barrel I noticed a mark after the feed ramps at the barrels entrance that im guessing is from rounds being fed and chipping at the edge.

I can't say that I've ever noticed this on an AR... and although I've had a few tavors in the past this is the first time I've taken one fully apart. Is this normal wear? Only about 200 rounds through it.

Man, that’s an absolutely tiny “defect”. Maybe just shoot it and not worry about something so insignificant? Or buff it smooth if it’s so bothersome?

Nowhere in my post did I say I was concerned about the cosmetics. I asked if this was normal wear or an indication that a major failure could happen at some point.

I very much doubt that it is either wear or an indication of a major future failure. I suspect it is a manufacturing artifact. Little bump. I'd just polish it out.
