XCR - 7.62x39 reliability

Considering the only thing in common with an AR is the magazine design, that's not really relevant.

what he said.

i have put 500 rounds thru mine in 2 outings. not one failure. runs on the lowest gas setting with mfs. only ammo i have tried

Mine has been reliable with about 1000 rounds through it. I've had a couple of failure to feed but that more mag related. For ammo its seen only corrosive ammo and no rust!

I would recommend one to anyone.

I can't remember how many rounds I put through mine, but it was alot. All I can say is she LOVES the lube. Lay it on.
I was having an issue with hard extractions, which was summed up to be an out of spec gas port that was fixed on warranty by Wolverine Supplies' gunsmith. Even though I wasn't the original owner. Good on them!

In the end. Reliable.

I here you there man, lately I've found myself taking my 858 out more often again, even a nice little mini14 I just picked up instead of .223 XCR and just plinking away with the factory irons. Sometimes I forget how awesome a little pointer those rifles are especially in the weight department, never sell my L's but making sure they all get some time outdoors is important. Good luck with your sale it's a nice looking unit in OD.
