Does anyone have this rifle in Canada?

I know the specs but was wondering if any have been imported?
Or did they make the "no export" list?

There are some here for sure. I have the 26" version and I have seen numerous 20" ones at the range.
 
Hmmm. I haven't seen them advertised anywhere. Thanks for the info.

So anyone on this site have any experience with the 20" version?

Eek. Almost $1700 for it. Seems like a SPS tactical and then throwing on an HS stock is a much better way to go. It's not stainless but.... still. Or the LTR even though I'm not a big fan of the LTR HS stock shape.

For $1400 maybe and that's a big maybe, but for just shy of $1700. I just can't see it.

I am considering one of these rifles also,
could someone tell me the differance (besides the stock), between the

-LTR 20 in barrel
-sps tactical 20 in barrel
-XCR tactical 20 in barrel

are the LTR, and XCR worth the extra money?

I don't have one but i was shooting my friends last week. Haven't fired a ton of rifles before but it seemed like a very nice rifle to me.
Just my $.02
 
I have an LTR and man does it shoot..

As far as I know the LTR also has a full aluminum bedding block.

The exports issues have been solved apparently so we should se better availability of the entire 700P type rifles in the near future, unless ofcourse the DOS pulls some other idiom on us.
