XCR for left handed shooter

I shoot mine lefty every once in a while, without issue.

My favorite part of the XCR, besides it's general awesomeness, is the left side charge handle. Shooting it lefty takes that advantage away from you. No biggie.

With ambi safety, ambi bolt release, and ambi mag release, you should be good to go. Also, in almost 13,000 rounds, I've never had brass fly out past 3 o'clock. I don't think it'd be possible to get hit, on ejection.

The XCR fits everyone.
Good luck

I guess as a lefty you just have to run it like every right handed person who's ever handled an AK has. Doesn't seem like much of an issue.

Actually no, I dont have to run it at all. With many other rifles out there being fully ambidextrous or having the charging handle on the right side at least, I would rather own one of them. Designing and building a modern day black rifle that isn't fully ambi reeks of laziness in my opinion. I will stick to my Tavor where I can choose to put the charging handle.

Whether the charging handle placement is a issue or not not is up to the individual user. If your a south paw and it doesn't bother you, that's great. For others it might be a issue. Like I said in my previous post, I have no other complaints about the XCR. Im just voicing my two cents about this gun and how lefties might like using it like the OP wanted us to do.

I'm a lefty and love my XCR. I am so used to the controls on it, I never think about the charging handle being an issue. I actually like it the way it is set up. I own several ARs and there is no advantage there over an XCR, it's just what you get used to. I really like the ergonomics of the XCR as well. I'm sure you'll be happy with it.

Im a Lefty and its great. Once i got the hang of going under and over to charge it I find that I'm faster at clearing and mag changes than on an AR. Best non AR lefty gun and its Non-Restricted! Cant go wrong other than a little pricey...
