Just got back from the range. 1.5" groups at 100y. That's ok. Fired 50rounds, had two jams(bolt stuck and bullet dented) with a metal LARS mag, no problems with a 5/30 pmag. The rifle is an xcr-l in 5.56 My scope is an ncstar 3-9 and the crosshairs cover up the bullseye. What about the adjustable gas settings? I get how it works just I can't figure out what setting I'm at. Can someone give me some advice please? Next time I go out to the range I'm bringing an outfielder with me to catch the brass!!

If you need an outfielder to catch your brass then your gas setting needs turning down before you destroy your buffer. Brass should be travelling around 10 feet from the rifle. Basically turn it down until it no longer cycles and then turn it back up one notch. Check periodically that you cannot turn it down further as you get it broken in.
Regards
Guy

Put on a 7.62x39 brass deflector on. Brass then ejects slightly to the rear, about the 4:00 position, way easier to catch and collect than launching them down range.

No manual. I had it online but my other laptop died. I looked through that one I had but it didn't tell me what I needed to know. Thanks. That was fun shootin
