So a few weeks ago I bought an xcr L in 223. Tried federal premium 55 gr and was getting a 6-7" group at 200 yds. I tried Hornady 75 gr match HPBT and they shot pretty good but on 5 shot groups I would get 1 flyer that would be a couple inches away from the group. Next I tried Nosler match 69gr. Getting about 23/4" groups at 200. Next I tried the Nosler custom 60gr ballistic tip and these seem to be about the best. Getting 2-1/16" groups at 200. So I was just wondering what the most accurate FACTORY load is that you have tried in your XCR?

Personally I never viewed the XCR as a precision gun. If you're getting 1.37 MOA - near 1 moa out of factory Nosler that might be as good as it gets out of factory. Might be able to tighten it up by reloading, but as you're asking about factory that may be as good as it's going to get, and frankly is pretty good out of a piston driven semi.

Your all doing better than me haha although I haven't reloaded my own ammo yet (just collecting brass) I can get as tight as 1 1/2" at 100 with American eagle but more average is around 2".

Even when I do start reloading it will likely be intended for bulk shooting not accuracy (ie. cheaper components)

Can someone post some picture of these results ? A couple 5 round groups on the page. I'm actually considering an xcr in 6.8. And if anyone here has one in 6.8 what does it like?
What other conversion kits does the L have besides 6.8 and 7.62x39?
