Do they actually make a .243 conversion kit for the xcr-m? I looked on a couple of the sponsors site but didn't see anything.

The .260 is for pure fanboy tactifag idiocy who think they're going to benefit from a slightly decreased drop at 1000 yards...when NO ONE would have ever expected the -M to be able to realize the benefit in any case with its expected ~3MOA, before it was even released.
Either some fanboy tactifag moron convinced Alex to produce a .260, or Alex is a moron, or, Alex can't actually figure out the gas adjustments for the .243.
The .243 was the ONLY rational first-choice for a second calibre for the -M. .260 was completely retarded.

Wow! That was some rant.
The 243 is an excellent cartridge, and the 260 is meh, but maybe robarms are just going with the flow and adding where they get an opening. Who knows, maybe someone in ammo manufacturing offered up some $$$.
But, lets not get too ragey. I'd rather the option of a 260 for the time being than nothing at all. And maybe by 2075, my xcr-l can be converted to .338LM and I can shoot moose out to 1800m, assuming the moose's vitals are 20 feet across.
See....it's all perspective.

If could get the conversion then I could make do with one rifle.Due to our retarded hunting regulations here in southern Ontario anyting larger than .270 is not allowed for hunting. I could use .308 for moose(if i could ever afford or get the time to go that is), deer and cheap surplus ammo target shooting and .243 for field mouse up to and including deer as well.Starting to realize .338 lapua isn't as useful as I once imagined it would be and .204 just wont do the rest.
