XCR-M 308 load development, finally had some range time.

Hit the range yesterday with the XCR-M, Scope is Vortex 4x16x50 pst FFP. Burris Pepr mount.
I tried BLC2 and varget. 168grn SMK's, and HMK's. HMK's and Varget did better, but I had some ejecting issues with the best group and 45 grns Varget, wouldn't eject the rounds, chewed up the brass on the rim. Almost brings a tear from my eye lol. Brass is PPU, CCI br2 primers, Lee factory crimp. COAL 2.820"

I know they are only 3 shot groups, but its a start, going to another run 5-10shot gruops from 44grns to 45 and see what happens.
Best group, 168hmk, 45 grns Varget, 100yrds. 0.107" piss poor ejection. Gas setting need's to be higher running Varget. And its finicky in the Dillon 650. second best group 44.5 grns varget, 0.764" moa, no ejection issues.

Try some groups with more rounds. Mine works nicely for 3 rounds and then there is always a stray or 2. Could say it's me but shooting off bags and it always happens. Kevin.

That was my experience as well.
The odd decent three round group, combined with an atrocious five round spread.
But even the three round groups were pretty random sometimes.
