Hey there,
Came into an old school XCR-M, the non-keymod version. I want to change the brake out from the AK looking version to an ATRS brake. I notice it has a hole on the top of the brake, and a corresponding hole on the bottom filled in. I am not sure if the bottom hole is just filled in to keep the muzzle rise down, or if it's a pin into the threads. I have heard some of the earlier ones came to Canada with the pinned brake.
I don't care if I destroy the old one, but before I go wrenching on the barrel and cause marring or damage, has anyone else tried removing these? I tried asking the (site sponsor) importer, and they couldn't give me an answer.
Thanks,
Jonesy
