Hey all,
I'm very happy to report my first day at the range with my new XCR-M went extremely well. I fired off 20 rounds of PRVI 145gr. @ 50 yds with no problems whatsoever, and thanks to my new buddy Jeff at my club, I was able to sight in my optic and put the last mag on paper. Sweet.
The XCR-M is extremely smooth with very manageable recoil for a .308 calibre. It's a little heavy, but nothing a good bench rest won't help manage. I'm looking forward to trying it out at some longer distances over the next little while. Also can't wait to get through the breaking-in period so I don't have to run it on max gas! Damn, it throws brass far! Anyways, here's a pic of my work in progress, hope you guys enjoy:
Robinson Arms XCR-M
Elcan SpecterDR 1-4x optic w/ anti-reflection device
Magpul PMAG 20LR
Magpul AFG2
Magpul XT rail covers
Still to come: Magpul MIAD Grip kit
Cheers,
Mav
